Teaching Faculty

This electronic course will be led by Daniel Ng J.D. LL.M. He is a specialist in global investments and finance. He was recently appointed International Preceptor at the Tax Law Institute. He accepted his appointment to the Tax Law Institute to research the impact of the U.S. internal revenue code upon investment and financing decisions among taxpayers entered into or divesting a merger, acquisition or joint venture. He is an honor's graduate of the Wharton School of Finance of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the British-American Law School program in English Common Law in partnership with the University of Cambridge and an LL.M. from Golden Gate University School of Law. Daniel will co-moderate the "Practice Area" course, "U.S. Taxation of Mergers, Acquisitions and Joint Ventures". Michael Stuart J.D. M.P.A., will co-moderate this course. He is a Harvard-trained specialist in international relations. He is a former White House tax policy adviser and former law professor. He worked briefly as an assistant to the Trilateral Commission. Judge John F. Dean, former U.S. Tax Court Special Trial Judge, will provide oversight. Judge Dean worked in the international section of the Office of Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service. He sat on the bench in the U.S. Tax Court for 20 years. And L.B. Carpenter CPA CFP USTCP and IRS Code Section 482 specialist together with Professor Joni Larson J.D. LL.M., Federal tax evidentiary scholar and former IRS tax litigator will offer insights regarding important cases and opinions in international tax.
