Robert Albano is a geo-political tax analyst (Eastern Europe) and researcher enrolled in an approved internship program at the Tax Law Institute (U.S. International Taxation).
Having had a diverse experience in international affairs and in the
international community, in particular having worked with the United Nations Secretariat
in New York in international trade law, Robert intended to pursue further
interest in international tax law in the United States. He holds cum laude status in the Joint Certification in Tax Laws and Business Taxation Program. Through his internship he is able to work with foreign tax professionals and attorneys involved in cross-border issues within the European Union.
Attorney Richard C. Cunha is to admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and before the U.S. Tax Court. He is the Tax Law Institute's 2009-10 Chief Counsel and Assistant Professor of Law at The College of Tax Law, San Diego, California.
Mr. Daniel Ng J.D, LL.M., 2009-2010 Distinguished Teaching Fellow, is a graduateof the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvaniain Philadelphia. He began his study of law at the University of Wolverhampton in the U.K. and earned his Juris Doctorate degree through the British-American University School of Law (with program affiliation with Cambridge University in England) external law programs in the U.S. and U.K and Master of Laws degree and Certificate in Litigation at Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California. Mr. Ng is a specialist in federal evidence rules, tort law and litigation practices. He serves as Associate Professor of Law and Associate Dean of The College of Tax Law, San Diego, California.
Among his outside credits are his awarding winning short and full-length productions as a filmmaker and producer for HBO Television and several independent film companies. Recently, his coverage of the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing, China was reported on CNN. In the world of finance, he is among the nation's leading authorities on strategies and techniques for successful international currency trading and arbitrage and noted speaker on the subject at global conferences and seminars. He is a "live trading" foreign exchange instructor utilizing the Alexander Pivot System, a proprietary technical analysis tool and will soon be heard on syndicated radio.
Presently, he holds a teaching fellowship at the Health and Hospital Law Institute where he prepares MDs and other health care professionals to cope with ever-increasing litigation-avoidance measures now widely utilized in the health care delivery system. Associate Professor Ng speaks fluent Cantonese Chinese and holds a bachelor of jurisprudence degree.
Michael J. Stuart, Emeritus Professor of Law, is a MPA graduate of the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. His teaching expertise is in the litigation of Federal tax controversies, with specialization in forensic practice. He taught Federal Taxation, U.S. Tax Court Litigation, U.S. District Court Litigation, USTC Rules of Practice & Procedure, Remedies, FRCP, FRAP, Evidence, Legal Reasoning & Writing, Ethics, Tax Crimes, Contracts, Corporations, and Wills, Trusts and Estates & Wealth Preservation. Professor Stuart is elected Fellow in the Royal Society of Fellows.
Professor Stuart is Director of the Tax Law Institute. He has additional duties as Dean, The College of Tax Law (California) and administrator of the Health and Hospital Law Institute™ (California). Previously, he was the Director of Market Research (Islamic window), Enterprise Federal Savings Bank and Enterprise Bancorp (Maryland); Chief Financial Analyst, Harvard University Center for Middle Eastern Studies HIFIP Program (Massachusetts); U.S. Director of Corporate Development, MGTI Ltd. (Japan); and Executive Director, Wildlife Trust (California). He built $45 million of affordable housing in partnership with theCity and State of New York and local communitiy organizations; trained at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and earned a Certificate in Elementary Mandarin Chinese at Harvard University and a Certificate in Political Economy at the Henry George School of Social Science (New York). He also participated briefly in the European and Asian study groups at Yale's Center for International and Area Studies (Connecticut).
Professor Stuart began his legal education in American jurisprudence at Massachusetts School of Law in Andover and completed his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, through the British-American University external law programs in the U.S. and U.K. He is an alumnus of Yale School of Architecture (Environmental Design) and magna cum laude graduate of Fordham College. He holds a Bachelors of Jurisprudence degree, cum laude, and completed the Global Derivatives Program at Morgan Stanley, Inc.
His public service credits include volunteer tax advisory with the Consumer Division, Legal Aid Society of New York; as tax policy adviser to the White House Domestic Policy Advisory Committee and as interim position paper writer in the Executive Office of the President (George H.W. Bush). His academic credits include appointment (declined) at Yale Law School as Visiting Scholar (Public Policy); appointment as Visiting Lecturer of Orthodox Islamic Banking & Finance Law at Southern New England School of Law (Massachusetts); and appointment as Director of the Islamic Law Institute.
He is a former Capitol Hill political analyst; past Special Executive Assistant to the only minority member of the Executive Committee of the Republican National Committee (RNC); former transitional adviser to Republican mayor Rudolph Giuliani; former Deputy State Campaign Chairman for Republican presidential hopeful, Patrick Buchanan. He is past Chairman of the New York State Republican Gubernatorial Candidates' Forum. He began his professional career as interim aide to Charles B. Heck, North American Secretary, and later, Director of the Trilateral Commission, and as political aide to John V. Lindsay, a former mayor of New York City and member of the Warren Commission. He is a retired decorated member of the NYPD Bureau of Special Services - the police intelligence unit.
