A story is told about Al Capone that demonstrates what almost every defendant in a criminal tax case must feel when confronted with the power of the IRS. As Mr. Capone was sitting in Federal court in Chicago, he heard the Clerk of the Court call his case, "United States of America versus Alphonse Capone." He turned to his attorneys and said, "What kinds of odds are those...one man against the American government?" Few Americans realize that it was the investigative efforts of the IRS that led to his conviction.

These sessions are led by a forensic tax accountant and former member of the NYPD Robbery Squad and Bureau of Special Services, assisted by an IRS Special Enrolled Agent and a tax attorney.
