Robert Albano is a Washington-trained geopolitical tax analyst who previously worked in the White House. He enrolled in an internship at the Tax Law Institute (US International Taxation) after a tour on the EU desk.
Having had a diverse experience in international affairs and in the international community, in particular, having worked with the United Nations Secretariat in international trade law, Mr. Albano intended to pursue further interest in international tax law in the United States.
He holds cum laude status in the US International Taxation Certification Program. Through his internship he is able to read, write and discuss foreign tax policies and their impact upon US taxpayers with financial interests in the cross-border community.
James H. Chapman is an IRS Special Enrolled Agent. He is listed by the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) as a National Tax Practice Institute Graduate Fellow. Mr. Chapman is President of Advanced Tax Solutions Inc. in Winchester, VA and certified in Pretrial Tax Litigation.
He holds a MPA from Webster College and serves as CPE Provider at the Tax Law Institute. Mr. Chapman developed TLI's Pretrial Tax Litigation Program that
is presented at The Harvard Faculty Club at Harvard University. He is a
retired Major of the US Army Corps of Engineers.
Attorney Richard C. Cunha is to admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and was TLI's 2011-2012 Chief Tax Counsel.
He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court. He serves as CPE Provider and assists in presenting TLI's Federal Trial
Practice Program at The Harvard Faculty Club at Harvard University. Mr. Cunha maintains an active general law practice as well.

Richard Jacobson is a public accountant registered in the State of Oklahoma. He specializes in forensic accounting and represents taxpayers during docketed appeals before IRS examiners.
He is certified as a Pretrial Tax Litigation Support Specialist and holds a BS in Accounting, cum laude,
from the Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University
(affiliate of Southern Methodist University of Dallas, Texas).
Mr. Jacobson serves as CPE Provider at the Tax Law Institute.
He is a former reconnaissance officer in the US Air Force.
Daniel Ng is the 2012 Legal Scholar-in-Residence and prominent speaker on issues related to international currency trading. He is fluent in Cantonese Chinese.
Among his outside credits are his awarding winning short and full length productions as a filmmaker and producer for HBO Television and several independent film companies. Recently, his coverage of the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing, China was reported on CNN. In the world of finance, he is an authority on strategies and techniques for arbitrage and noted speaker on the subject at global conferences and seminars. His night job is a "live trading" foreign exchange instructor utilizing the Alexander Pivot System, a proprietary technical analysis tool in Asian markets.
Mr. Ng is a graduateof the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He began his study of law at the University of Wolverhampton in the UK and earned his JD at the old British-American University School of Law (previously affiliated with Cambridge University in England) and LLM and Certificate in Litigation (Honors) at Golden Gate University School of Law.
Mr. Ng is especially knowledgeable of the federal evidence rules and the RICO statute. He is a former temporary judge of the California Superior Court and senior researcher for TLI's Federal Trial Practice Program presented at The Harvard Faculty Club at Harvard University.
Michael J. Stuart worked on Wall Street as management "trouble-shooter" from 1978 to 1998 when he left to become Director of Corporate Development at MGTI Ltd. (Japan). Previously, he served as Director of Market Research for Development of the Islamic Window at Enterprise Bancorp in Washington DC/Maryland and Financial Analyst (HIFIP) at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University (currently Harvard Law School Islamic Finance Project). Earlier, he held the Executive Directorship of the Wildlife Trust where he led efforts to save the habitat of the East African highland mountain gorillas. Also, during this period, he was officially recognized by the City of New York for his efforts to rehabilitate $60 million of affordable housing for the homeless.
Active in American politics, he served voluntarily as executive assistant to the ranking minority member of the Executive Committee of the Republican National Committee (RNC); as transition adviser to mayor-elect Rudolph Giuliani; as Deputy State Campaign Chairman for presidential hopeful and Reagan White House Communications Director, Patrick Buchanan; as Chairman of the New York State Republican Gubernatorial Candidates' Forum and as executive assistant to John V. Lindsay. He was the 1992 Republican candidate for the New York State Senate.
His academic service includes appointment (declined) at Yale Law School as Visiting Scholar (Public Policy); appointment as Visiting Lecturer (Islamic finance) at Southern New England School of Law (now, the University of Massachusetts School of Law); Director of the Islamic Law Institute; Professor of Islamic Law and Academic Dean at the old British-American University School of Law and Visiting Professor of Taxation and Director of the Tax Institute at Laurel University. His community service credits include tax resolution
assistance provided to indigent clients of the Legal Aid Society; tax policy analyses while a
member of the RNC's White House Domestic Policy Advisory Committee where he prepared position papers on tax policy for the Deputy Assistant to the
President for Political Affairs in the Executive Office of the President (George H.W. Bush).
He earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence (JD), magna cum laude and BSc. Jurisprudence, cum laude, at the British-American US-UK external law program (previously affiliated with Cambridge University in England). He is an alumnus of Yale' environmental program and holds a BA, magna cum laude, from Fordham University. He trained in international taxation at Regent University School of Law and in international financial management and accounting at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts.
He was certified in elementary Mandarin Chinese at
Harvard and received a Masters in International Relations (MPA) from the
Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. He was active in Europe and
East Asia studies at the Yale Center for International and Area Studies.
He also completed the Global Derivatives Program at the New York investment banking firm of Morgan Stanley.
His expertise is legal writing and editing for federal tax litigation. Mr. Stuart is CPE Provider for federally authorized tax practitioners and coordinates TLI's Federal Trial Practice Program presented at The Harvard Faculty Club at Harvard University. He is admitted to the Royal Society of Fellows.
